brain must be more powerful than the heart.
think first, then try to apply your emotions and that would feel better coz you know you used your mind before reacting to something. and brain develops first before the heart and brain is higher than the heart...come to think about it..^^
Your heart is placed in the centre of your body - this is incredibly significant!
To find your life, you have to make your heart central. The beliefs of your heart affect every level of your being. I’m sorry for those who thought that what you believe in your brain is the ultimate factor to a successful life – and I’m further saddened for those who thought that mind power can get you what you want! You have to believe in something or somebody with your heart.
We often tend to spiritualise any writings about the heart. We think it only belongs to our ‘religious life’ and relate it to beliefs such as giving to the poor, not telling lies, not stealing and loving our neighbours as ourselves.
There is a challenge to living whole-heartedly and experiencing the power of our heart: A blissful, peaceful heart has to be discovered by a restless, lustful brain! I’m referring to our two power stations: the one between our ears, and the other one behind our ribs. To make your life a miracle, these two powerful organs have to become buddies and best friends!
The peace that comes with listening to your heart is priceless. It has been proved scientifically: peace and other positive emotions are good for the physical heart. Your brain and body benefit as well.
Hearing your heart doesn’t just happen. It comes with understanding and discipline. It requires you to be willing to sometimes quiet the restless brain and pay attention to the messages of the heart.
It is written that we should guard our hearts more than anything we treasure, for it is the source of all life. There are also many quotations on how we should ‘write new truths on our hearts’ and several others refer to the ‘wisdom in our hearts’.
To make these mind-blowing scripts more practical, consider the following: When your belief about a person or situation is very strong, chances are you have written these on your heart. When you experience a lot of emotion and feelings about something, and the experiences are very real to you (keep moving in your innermost being, keep on living inside your thoughts) these experiences become a belief – a belief from your heart. It is not just ‘something’ that happened to you – it has become part of who you are and how you act. This kind of belief is much stronger than when you only accept or experience something or somebody with your mind.
When you feel very strongly about something, make time to ‘write it on your heart.’ Only then can you be sure that nobody else will be able to take it away from you! It will also enable you to ‘see more clearly’ what is urgent, important and/or just necessary!
Some of the amazing facts about your heart:
• It is your body’s most powerful organ;
• It is your body’s largest generator of electro-magnetic energy, and produces, sends and receives a broad spectrum of other types of energy around you;
• The electro-magnetic signals from your heart are transmitted to every cell in your body – and also emanate outwards to affect your environment. (this fact is a hard one to digest);
• It is the conductor of the energy of all your body cells and cutting edge science tells us that it does not have to be strong to influence cellular functioning. However , this subtle form of energy emitted, conducted and received by the heart is strong enough to cause significant changes in the cells of the body.
